COOPERATION AGREEMENTS WITH THE INCUBATOR NETWORK OF SHANGHAI
The first cooperation agreement with the Incubator Network of the city of Shanghai was signed back in 2004. In November 2007, Montpellier Agglomeration both renewed and expanded these agreements. The goal : to encourage reciprocal corporate expansion.

Are you planning on opening a subsidiary in China? Setting up business in China represents a considerable risk for your company. By taking advantage of this partnership, you will benefit from free housing for a year in one of Shanghai's 36 incubators, selected according to your sector of activity. Our partners in China will assist you in setting up your legal structure (representative office, subsidiary, Franco-Chinese joint venture), in finding suppliers and partners, establishing your business plan...

You are a Chinese firm, already housed in one of the Shanghai incubators? Reciprocally, Montpellier Agglomeration is ready to assist you and to give your European subsidiary the greatest possible chances of success: administrative and legal guidance, liaison with relevant partners, technical and commercial support in drafting your business plan... Maximize your company's overseas opportunities thanks to free housing for a year in the city of Montpellier's BIC (innovative enterprises) or within the MIBI (Montpellier International Business Incubator).

A cooperation fund created by the City of Shanghai and Montpellier Agglomeration allows businesses from Montpellier and Shanghai to minimize the risks and costs of international expansion.

Others have gone before
: Chinese firm Ixento is housed by the Cap Omega incubator, while Montpellier-based companies Coronis Systems and Textile Hi-Tec have set up shop in China. Originally housed by Cap Omega, Intrasense also elected in late 2007 to develop its radiography software business in China.

THE CHINA CLUB
